September is FASD Awareness Month

September is FASD Awareness month! FASD Services at IHR are working hard to support this population in Massachusetts and are grateful to share the proclamation for FASD Awareness Month from Governor Healy. This is a time to recognize the significance of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) and show support to the community. FASD is a disability that impacts many people. This month can be a time to learn, ask questions, and seek support. Through recognition, discussion, and acknowledgement we can all do our part to help destigmatize and normalize FASDs. When people with FASDs have appropriate services or resources, it allows for them to be successful members of their communities.
