Diagnosis, Services & Support

MassFAS has an integrated partnership with the Brenner Center for Psychological Assessment & Consultation at William James College in Newton, MA.

Why is Diagnosis Important?

In the medical world, diagnosis of an FASD is improtant for billing codes. It is also important to include other diagnoses (e.g. ADHD, LD, mood, ID, RAD) if pertinent.

In an education setting, it is important for a school’s administrators and teachers to be aware of all relevant diagnoses in order to implement an effective IEP (Individualized Education Program).
