Happy Birthday to the Americans with Disabilities Act!

We have a birthday to celebrate!

The Americans with Disabilities Act turns 30 this year! The ADA was signed in 1990 as a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities including employment, education, and transportation. The ADA guarantees equal opportunity in all public accommodations and local and state government services.

The nation has a long way to to ensure that equality is granted to all individuals, but we can all agree this is a great start. Happy 30th Birthday ADA. For more information on the Americans with Disabilities Act go to
